Quick Update

Hmmmm... guess it's been a while since I updated! I spend most of my free time (which isn't a lot) on MySpace, so you can always find me there! (www.myspace.com/nicknhelen)

Nick and I finally have our official foster parenting license.

We've moved to a bigger apartment - 3 bedrooms!

Work is going awesome for both of us.

I ran my first 5K last weekend.

Vacation!

Well, our first vacation together was WONDERFUL!  Nick did so well with all the planning and it wasn't until we hit the road Friday morning and I saw a sign for St. Louis that I realized that's where we were going. He had every detail planned and it was perfect. We played golf twice, went to the top of The Arch, went to look at a gorgeous old Catholic church, went to a Cardinals game at the brand new Busch stadium, went to Forest Park which includes the St. Louis Zoo, site of the World's Fair of 1908 (or something like that), beautiful flower gardens and a couple of golf courses.

Basically it was an awesome trip! I'll post some pictures tonight

My Space

Alright, so interesting things are no longer happening, and its really not even worth mentioning.  It's ok though! Work it still going well and despite finding out that we OWE taxes this year  things are going well for Nick and me!

I am missing my nieces and nephew like crazy though! I keep looking at their pictures and wishing I could see them...

I realize it's been a LONG time since I updated, but not a whole lot has really happened in life! Well, ok.... stuff has happened but it's not even interesting to me - so why would it be interesting to you?

Life is suddenly getting interesting, but I can't say how right now... hopefully in a few days. Until then I will keep you in suspense
